R.K. Gore & Associates is the first and only retail brokerage firm created specifically to represent residential homebuilders and land developers. Our core team has worked together for over twenty years, focusing exclusively on residential builders. We began working together at Aon, moved to Willis, and finally left the publicly traded broker world when it became clear that the large broker business model did not accommodate the services a residential builder needs. Eventually, it became obvious that to accomplish our goals, we would have to create a firm from the ground up.
We have longstanding relationships with domestic and overseas carriers, built on decades of trust. Our firm currently produces more residential homebuilder insurance in the London market than any other U.S. firm. These trusted partnerships allow us to secure competitive rates and specialized coverage that meet the unique needs of our clients.
All of our services are performed on-site, allowing us to control response times and offer specific assistance when a builder client needs urgent attention. This hands-on approach ensures that our clients receive personalized service, tailored precisely to their business requirements.
Our specialties include customized policy language, in-house wrap administration, claims support, captives, and bespoke programs designed to maximize our clients’ premium dollars. We also assist clients in navigating complex insurance claims, providing expert guidance and advocacy throughout the process.
Our clients range from three of the top ten builders in the U.S. to family-owned regional builders. We place corporate “master” programs as well as project-specific policies. Due to the specialized nature of the exposures faced by residential builders and land developers, we also provide builder’s risk, workers' compensation, pollution liability, auto, professional, and other lines of coverage.
Our average client relationship spans twelve years. We have had several clients for over fifteen years and some for more than twenty. The relationships we have developed with underwriters, wholesale brokers, and our clients are what we are most proud of.
